BREAKING: Police Teargas, Arrest #ENDSARS Protesters At National Assembly Complex In Abuja

Some #ENDSARS protesters have been teargassed and arrested at the gate of National Assembly by the Nigeria Police. The demonstators gathered in front of the complex to paint #ENDSARS grafiti on the floor to remind the Government of their demands. Peaceful #EndSARS protesters disrupting after being fired teargas at, by the Nigerian police. The peaceful protest was violently disrupted when the police group fired teargas and arrested about four of the demonstators. Some of the protesters were also beaten while persons passing at the place were harassed. As at the time of filing this report, human amd vehicular movement in the area had been restricted. The Nigerian Government has declared Thursday, October 29, 2020, as a public holiday across the country.The holiday is to mark this year's Eid-El-Maulud in commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola. Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, made the announcement on Tuesday in a statement by Mohammed Manga, Director of Press and Public Relations in the ministry. A report published by the Digital Forensic Research Lab on Thursday noted that open-source evidence of shootings by the Nigerian Army killing protesters at Lekki Toll Gate contradicted these denials. According to HumAngle, a report published by the Digital Forensic Research Lab on Thursday noted that open-source evidence contradicted these denials.  “Several videos corroborate the location and presence of Nigerian soldiers at the Lekki Toll Plaza, a major toll highway toll concession in the South of Lagos,” said Jean Le Roux, the lab’s Research Associate for Southern Africa.  “Video footage posted on Twitter place Nigerian s
